Lindley Methodist Church Walking Group
We walk together once a month - usually on a Saturday but also on Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Monday. The walks are typically between 5 miles, and we walk in the local Kirklees and Calderdale area but also venture further afield in the summer months to the Dales, Derbyshire and even into Lancashire! Once a year usually in May, we enjoy a walking weekend away. Over the years, we have stayed in a variety of locations from the North York Moors and the Dales to Northumberland and the Lake District. We also have an annual meeting and social in November. We welcome anyone to join us either for the occasional walk or more regularly. For further details and our current walk programme, please contact our secretary Raymond Butterworth via the Contact Us page
